Itching - Elixir oral use - Bardane, thyme & dandelion

• Burdock: native to Europe, this plant is renowned for its detoxifying properties. It supports the body's elimination and purification functions, helping to maintain healthy skin. For internal use, it is the roots that are of particular interest, as they help to treat certain skin conditions linked to excess seborrhoea production.
  
  
• Thyme: a fragrant perennial sub-shrub native to the Mediterranean basin, used for the bactericidal and fungicidal properties of its phenols.
  
  
• Dandelion: the diuretic, cholagogue (substance which facilitates the evacuation of bile to the intestine) and choleretic (which increases bile secretion) effects of this well-known plant are used here to combat eczema.
  
  
• Lavender: this spontaneous perennial sub-shrub with a woody stem destroys staphylococcus cultures and is effective against skin ailments such as wounds, burns and bedsores, even when super-infected.
  
  
• Sarsaparilla: native to subtropical America and the Mediterranean basin, it is a sudorific cleanser for the skin.
  
  
• Wild pansy: a herbaceous plant with an angular stem rich in saponides and flavonoids, wild pansy is a great skin purifier. It is a leader in dermatology.
• Fumitory : Small annual herbaceous, associated with Bardane, it is indicated in the event of a skin affection. By purification of blood it causes a real youthful cure.
  
  
• Plantain : perennial herbaceous used for its very real antihistamine properties in manifestations of hypersensitivity to insect bites or other allergens.
  
  

Dosage: 1 ml per 5 kg slice, 1 to 2 times a day.

One bottle contains 200 ml. It is suitable for a one-month course of treatment for an average-sized animal. Preferably taken on an empty stomach, directly into the animal's mouth using the dosing device provided. Otherwise, they can be mixed with meals.

For NACs (new pets), 1ml per 10ml of drinking water per day.

Shake the bottle well before opening. 

After opening, keep for three months in the refrigerator. Before opening, the use-by date is shown on the cap.

How long does this product take effect?

The effects are not immediate. On average, it takes around ten days before you start to notice them, depending on your pet's reaction (after all, every animal has different sensitivities!).

After a fortnight, if you find that the effects are still not significant enough, don't hesitate to contact us with details of your pet's symptoms and the dosage administered. Our team will be happy to advise you!

N. B.: Depending on the case, you may notice a slight peak in itching during the first few days of the treatment. Don't worry, this is normal! It's the body getting rid of its toxins thanks to its skin-draining action, and it won't last :)

Due to the slight laxative action of dandelion, animals with fragile digestive system can experience diarrhea episodes. If this is the case, under veterinary opinion, you can complement it with a supplement for digestion (to find here) in order to rebalance your transit.
